Pre-Arrival Assessment Before traveling, our orthopedic team reviews your X-rays, MRI scans (if available), medical history, and current symptoms through an online consultation. This confirms whether hip replacement is appropriate and helps determine the best surgical approach and prosthesis type.
Airport Transfer and Hospital Admission Upon arrival, our international patient coordinators provide airport pickup and accompany you to the hospital. Admission is completed the same day to begin pre-operative evaluations.
Pre-Operative Evaluation (Day 1) Your preparation includes: • Blood tests • ECG • Chest X-ray • Orthopedic examination • Anesthesia consultation Your surgeon explains the procedure, expected results, implant details, and recovery plan.
Day of Surgery (Day 2) Hip replacement surgery is performed under general or spinal anesthesia. The damaged joint surfaces are removed and replaced with a high-quality prosthetic joint. Minimally invasive techniques may be used to reduce pain and speed up recovery. After surgery, you are transferred to the recovery room and then to the orthopedic ward.
Hospital Stay (Typically 2 nights, depending on the patient’s condition) Although the standard stay is 2 nights, the exact number of nights may vary based on each patient’s mobility, medical condition, and recovery speed. During hospitalization you receive: • Pain management • Early mobilization and physiotherapy (usually within 24 hours) • Wound care • Guidance on walking, sitting, and using support devices • Daily monitoring by the orthopedic team
Discharge and Follow-Up Upon discharge, you receive full instructions on wound care, medications, mobility restrictions, and follow-up appointments. Our international patient coordinators provide 24/7 WhatsApp support after your return home.
Recovery & Rehabilitation A personalized physiotherapy program is recommended to restore joint strength and mobility. Most patients return to their normal daily routine within 4–6 weeks depending on their healing progress.
