Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)

  1. Pre-Arrival Assessment
Before traveling, our cardiology team reviews your medical records, imaging results, and current medications through a secure online consultation. This ensures you are a suitable candidate for CABG and helps us plan your individualized treatment.
  2. Airport Transfer and Admission
Upon arrival in Iran, our dedicated international patient team provides airport pickup and accompanies you to the hospital. You will be admitted on the same day for pre-operative evaluations.
  3. Pre-Operative Evaluation (Day 1)
You will undergo comprehensive tests, including:
    • Blood work
    • Chest X-ray
    • Echocardiography
    • ECG
    • CT scans or angiography (if needed)
Your cardiac surgeon and anesthesiologist will review the results and explain the surgery plan.
  4. Day of Surgery (Day 2)
CABG is performed under general anesthesia. The surgeon creates a new path for blood flow by grafting healthy vessels to bypass blocked coronary arteries.
The procedure typically lasts 3–5 hours. After surgery, you will be transferred to the ICU for close monitoring.
  5. ICU Stay (1–2 days)
Our ICU team monitors your heart function, breathing, and recovery. Most patients are moved to the general ward after 24–48 hours.
  6. General Ward Recovery (3–4 days)
During your stay in the ward, you will receive:
    • Pain management
    • Breathing exercises
    • Early mobilization and physiotherapy
    • Wound care
    • Daily monitoring by the cardiac team
