Coronary Angiography / Angioplasty – Diagnostic and Therapeutic

  1. Pre-Arrival Assessment
Before your trip, our cardiology specialists review your medical history, test results, and current symptoms through an online consultation. This helps us determine whether coronary angiography is the right approach and prepare for possible therapeutic procedures.
  2. Airport Transfer and Admission
Our international patient team provides airport pickup and accompanies you to the hospital. You will be admitted for same-day preparation.
  3. Pre-Procedure Evaluation (Day 1)
You will undergo essential assessments, including:
    • Blood tests
    • ECG
    • Chest X-ray (if required)
    • Cardiology consultation
The team explains the procedure, expected outcomes, and any potential need for angioplasty.
  4. Coronary Angiography Procedure
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia with mild sedation. A thin catheter is inserted through the wrist or groin to visualize the coronary arteries.
If a blockage is detected, angioplasty (ballooning) and stent placement can be performed during the same session, making this both a diagnostic and therapeutic service.
  5. Post-Procedure Monitoring and Overnight Stay
After the angiography (or angioplasty), you will remain under observation to ensure stable recovery.
    Total Hospital Stay: 1 Night
  6. Discharge and Follow-Up
Before discharge, the cardiology team provides instructions on medications, activity levels, and follow-up recommendations.
Our international patient coordinators remain available 24/7 via WhatsApp for post-travel support.
