Brain Tumor Surgery

  1. Pre-Arrival Assessment
Before traveling, our neurosurgery team reviews your medical reports, MRI/CT scans, pathology results (if available), and current symptoms through an online consultation. This helps confirm the type, location, and operability of the brain tumor and allows us to design a personalized surgical plan.
  2. Airport Transfer and Hospital Admission
Upon arrival, our international patient coordinators provide airport pickup and bring you directly to the hospital. Admission is completed the same day so that pre-operative evaluations can begin without delay.
  3. Pre-Operative Evaluation (Day 1)
    Your diagnostic workup includes:
    • Updated MRI or CT scan (if needed)
    • Blood tests and routine labs
    • Neurological examination
    • Anesthesia consultation
    • Pre-surgery planning with advanced imaging and navigation systems
The neurosurgeon explains the surgery steps, risks, benefits, and expected recovery.
  4. Day of Surgery (Day 2)
Brain tumor surgery is performed under general anesthesia. Depending on the tumor’s location and size, our team may use advanced techniques such as neuronavigation, neuro-monitoring, microsurgery, or minimally invasive approaches.
The goal is maximal tumor removal while protecting critical brain structures.
After surgery, the patient is transferred to the ICU for close monitoring.
  5. ICU Stay (1–2 days)
The ICU team monitors neurological status, vital signs, and overall stability. Most patients are ready to move to the general ward within 24–48 hours.
  6. General Ward Recovery (3–4 days)
During your recovery in the ward, you will receive:
    • Pain control
    • Neurological monitoring
    • Wound care
    • Early mobilization with physiotherapy
    • Post-operative imaging if needed
    Total Hospital Stay: 5 Nights
  7. Discharge and Follow-Up
Before discharge, you receive full instructions regarding medications, wound care, activity limitations, and follow-up imaging.
Our international patient coordinators remain available 24/7 via WhatsApp to support you after returning home.
  8. Optional Rehabilitation & Neuro-Oncology Follow-Up
Depending on tumor type, patients may require ongoing follow-up with oncology, radiotherapy, or rehabilitation specialists. Our team assists with coordinating these next steps and providing remote follow-up.
